The FocusAPI plugin provides CCDSoft with the ability to control focusers via their ASCOM standard drivers. With this plugin, you can use focusers not supported internally by CCDSoft but which have ASCOM drivers. Also, some focusers have ASCOM drivers that provide enhanced functionality as compared to that provided with the internal support in CCDSoft.
